Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Accountant to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This is a contract position requiring expertise in accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial issues.
- Implement and improve accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis.
