Job Description


TOSI is looking for a HS outreach AT for Norwood HS.

Contract to Hire or Direct are both options. 

This is an hourly position. This person will get more than 40 hours in the fall and but will still maintain 40 hours during slower times of the year. EG Summer

Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience - greener candidates are preferred

Pay: 
Low - $21.87 per hour - $45,487 per year
Mid - $27.63 per hour - $57,480 per year
High - $33.40 per hour - $69,473 per year
 

This is a hourly position that comes with some great benefits!
  • Shift differential pay of $4.00/hr – most games and practices qualify for this pay (any hours worked after 3pm as long as they work until 8pm team member qualify)
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Minimum pay would be around $21.50/hr and max pay (30 years) would be around $33.25/hr – this could increase depending on internal equity of the team.

2. Peer IV - same day if possible

Job Description: 
This position is directly responsible to Program Manager - Sports Medicine and indirectly responsible to Supervisor - Athletic Training ( if applicable). Athletic Trainer must demonstrate ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, treatment, reconditioning, & immediate care as set forth by Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act, and generally accepted principles of athletic training. AT will also demonstrate proper taping, bracing, strapping, & fitting of athletic equipment. The AT will carry out all prescribed treatments & recommendations by the physician. Individual also evaluates, plans, and administers treatment and care of athletes under the direct supervision of a designated physician. AT will cover assigned games, matches, and contracted events for assigned school and applicable special events under the supervision of designated physician. AT must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development and possess the ability to assess data reflective of athlete's status and interpret the appropriate information. At also works to ensure high standard of quality care to patients and clients, and development of program and growth initiatives. AT will maintain BOC certification and AT licensure in the State in which he or she will be practicing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health Athletic Training National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Credential (NATABOC) BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Athletic Trainer Board Licensed in the state in which he or she will practice EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year Entry Level SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: .

  • National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Credential (NATABOC) BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Athletic Trainer Board Licensed in the state in which he or she will practice
  • At least 1 year Entry Level SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
