Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, providing administrative support to the Senior HR Generalist and HR Manager.
- Compile, update, and maintain employee records with accuracy.
- Manage recruiting efforts, including conducting initial phone screens (primarily production roles, occasionally engineering) and scheduling interviews.
- Handle 10–15 requisitions at a time, ensuring timely and effective candidate coordination.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for the HR team, answering employee questions regarding HR policies, rules, and regulations.
- Support new hire onboarding, including orientation and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Assist with payroll preparation by reviewing timesheets for accuracy before submission.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of HR administrative experience.
- Experience with recruiting processes, including initial phone screens and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
