Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to orchestrate timely shipments and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Oversee the production schedule, manage inventory levels, and facilitate efficient processing of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Build strong relationships with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance workplace efficiencies.
- Organize and manage the production schedule to optimize efficiency and ensure timely shipment of orders.
- Delegate production orders to warehouse staff and monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Report inventory discrepancies to the Director of Operations for immediate resolution.
- Assist in executing special projects on time and to the quality standards set by the client and the Director of Operations.
- Monitor and track established warehouse KPIs, procedures, policies, and safety standards.
- Take a hands-on approach to organizing periodic inventory cycle counts.
- Assist in resolving customer service inquiries and issues during the production process.
- Supervise the warehouse team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Maintain the ability to temporarily complete all warehouse positions in the case of a short-staffed team.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, accepting deliveries, and organizing shipments.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, shipping areas, and workstations neat.
- Follow established warehouse procedures, policies, and comply with OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations.
What you need to succeed:
- High School Degree.
- At least 1-2 years of proven management experience, preferably in a logistics or distribution background.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams.
- Adaptability and patience to manage projects in a fast-changing environment.
- Process improvement mindset and familiarity with production and logistics operations.
- Experience with kitting operations and assembly line processes.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with smaller to mid-size organizations and the ability to wear multiple hats.
- Ability to grow and scale with the business, managing increasing volumes and projects.
- Proficiency in Syncore and ShipHero systems is a plus.
