Job Title: Contract Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
Location: West Chester, Ohio
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining effective communication with clients to facilitate prompt payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Prepare invoices and bank deposits accurately and on time.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues with clients.
- Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and present them to management.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
