- Develop and maintain cost accounting procedures, reports, and systems
- Lead cycle count and year-end physical inventory processes
- Analyze inventory trends, variances, and root causes
- Perform standard cost rolls, BOM and routing reviews, and E&O reserve calculations
- Review and reconcile inventory and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and monthly close activities
- Assist with labor and overhead absorption analysis and monthly reporting
- Provide data and documentation for internal and external audits
- Drive process improvements and ensure SOX compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in cost accounting
- Strong Excel skills (high intermediate to advanced)
- Experience developing cost standards and inventory reporting
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and solving discrepancies
