Accounting Manager - Payroll Tax
Manage day-to-day Financial Center Payroll department functions and payroll processing.

- Manage Financial Center Payroll team to through established payroll schedules and assignments
- Serve as primary point of contact to address and coordinate any urgent/specialized requests
- Collaborate with Internal Review and audits by providing information, respond to auditors, and develop action plans
- Prepare cash/payroll reconciliation for payroll including journal entries to transfer labor costs to projects
- Ensure compliance with company policy, best practices, and accuracy of payroll postings to general ledgers
- Research and identify accounting postings to provide financial analysis to profit centers
- Assist with payroll balance sheet reconciliations and assist with payroll bank reconciliations
- Manage or delegate help desk service tickets
- Assist with payroll software and system updates, improvements, and related testing
- Create continuous process improvements through lean practices and principles, standardizing, improving, and documenting payroll processes
- Develop and deliver training to educate team members regarding payroll
- Create supportive environment to develop high performing finance team, provide training opportunities and engage in coaching and mentoring relationships
- Provide timely performance feedback and contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance cycle
- Experience in the Construction Industry.
- Experience in Payroll and Tax
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Related Field
- Experience with Direct Reports
