trak group is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in southeast Indiana to find a hands-on accounting professional ready for long-term impact. This is a unique succession planning opportunity: you’ll start by supporting the current Accounting Manager and transition into that leadership role as they approach retirement—possibly even stepping into a CFO track as the company continues to grow.

trak group is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in southeast Indiana to find a hands-on accounting professional ready for long-term impact. This is a unique succession planning opportunity: you’ll start by supporting the current Accounting Manager and transition into that leadership role as they approach retirement—possibly even stepping into a CFO track as the company continues to grow.

- Manage AP, AR, inventory, accruals, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements: balance sheet, profit & loss, trial balances
- Build and manage budgets and cash flow projections alongside the COO
- Act as primary liaison with the CPA firm and bank representatives
- Assist with HR tasks such as worker’s comp and insurance responses
- Utilize Global Shop ERP system for daily operations
- Take on ad hoc reporting and projects to support continued growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close
- Solid understanding of accruals, AP/AR, and financial reporting
- A stable work history and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
- HR experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn the business from the ground up and work closely with leadership
- 100% onsite in Greendale, Indiana
- Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- $85,000–$95,000/year, depending on experience
