Job Title: Contract Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and processing accounts payable transactions with precision and efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain vendor files and manage payment schedules.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare reports as needed.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
