Responsibilities include:
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial information.
- Process customer invoices in the accounting software.
- Research and follow up on customer deductions and returns.
- Maintain customer accrual and brokerage balances.
- Prepare work papers pertaining to Accounts Receivable supporting annual audited financial statements.
- Prepare reports on Sales, Accruals, Brokerage, and Accounts Receivable as required.
- Document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Code documents according to company procedures and file accordingly.
- Reconcile or note and report discrepancies in Accounts Receivable records.
- Prepare, maintain, and balance numerical and financial data in the General Ledger.
- Support all safety, food quality, and sanitation initiatives and policies.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the Order to Cash process or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and SAP Systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities while maintaining a detail-oriented work style.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Honest and ethical character.
