Application Engineer
trak group is partnering with an innovative precision manufacturing company to find a skilled Application Engineer. If you’re passionate about mechanical design and love collaborating directly with customers to create tailored technical solutions, this could be your next move.

- Work closely with customers to gather technical requirements and develop custom spindle and slide solutions
- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring deadlines, quality, and cost goals are met
- Provide internal support across Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to align technical efforts
- Integrate safety, cost, and functionality into product designs
- Approve prototypes and conduct thorough testing to meet client expectations
- Represent the team in client meetings, training sessions, and occasional trade shows
- 4-year Engineering degree (BS or BSET)
- 5+ years of engineering experience, or 2+ years specifically in spindle/bearing design
- Strong communication skills and confidence leading customer interactions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar 2D/3D CAD tools)
- Mechanical design expertise, ideally with an understanding of machining operations
- Project management knowledge and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter
