Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 7a-3: 30p Mon-Fri
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Fairfield, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team.
Summary:
This position performs detailed mechanical assembly work requiring precision, dexterity, and proficiency with a variety of hand tools. Responsibilities include fitting and adjusting parts to close tolerances and handling components that may be complex or difficult to maneuver. While certain tasks may follow short repetition cycles, the work itself requires focus and adaptability rather than routine repetition.
The role requires the ability to interpret detailed blueprints, assembly sketches, and similar technical documentation. Minor procedural decisions may be made when fitting and adjusting parts, always within established guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Description:
Assemble parts for electromechanical equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Tag or mark identifying information on parts.
Grease or lubricate components using oilcans;tap or ream bolt holes with drill presses.
Adjust or grind parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
Inspect parts for flaws, defects, or imperfections.
Position and fasten units to assemblies and subassemblies;secure cables and wiring.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure parts and verify tolerances.
Test assemblies for mechanical reliability and measure dimensions and clearances.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret assembly and electrical blueprints.
Capable of following written and verbal specifications.
Strong critical thinking skills and high level of self-motivation.
Must provide own assembly tools.
Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet production demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.
