Assembler –Weekend Shift
Pay: $20–$21/hour

trak group is hiring Weekend Shift Assemblers to support the build of high-quality plastic, aluminum, and electrical components used in advanced infrastructure systems. This role is ideal for someone with assembly experience who values precision, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble plastic panels, aluminum frames, and electrical components using hand tools, small power tools, and basic machinery
- Perform quality checks on parts, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure specifications and timelines are met
- Follow standard work instructions, job tracking procedures, and safety guidelines
- Support production flow through material handling, inventory movement, cleaning, and general warehouse tasks
- Operate small machines as needed to support assembly processes
- Learn materials, components, and terminology while participating in continuous improvement efforts
- Complete additional tasks as assigned, including forklift certification if required
Requirements:
- Assembly experience required;manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and small power tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and safety materials in English
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to pass a background check
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical components, airborne particles, and noise (hearing protection required)
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals
