Assistant Manager of Building Services
Setting/Hours: 100% in Office| 6: 008: 00 AM
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Mason, Ohio thats expanding its Manufacturing team.
Join a stable, well-established manufacturing organization as a facilities leader, where youll have the autonomy to shape building services operations and take ownership of critical systems. Must Haves:
Facilities maintenance or engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability
They will need portray strong leadership skills AND be high energy
Will oversee 10 FTEs (techs)
Working knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, wastewater treatment, fire suppression, and general mechanical and electrical systems
Willingness to work flexible hours to support multi-shift operations (only 1st and 2nd)
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct activities of Building Services Technicians, providing guidance and training as needed
Oversee maintenance and repair of facility systems including compressed air, wastewater treatment, cooling towers, fire suppression and security systems, plumbing, electrical, lighting, balers, regenerative thermal oxidizers, and HVAC
Supervise maintenance and repair of company-owned vehicles, including passenger vehicles, maintenance carts, and lifts
Assist technicians with hands-on maintenance work as needed (electrical, plumbing, fabrication)
Interface with vendors and contractors;negotiate cost-effective maintenance and improvement solutions
Manage timelines and technical details for maintenance, repair, and construction projects
Ensure continuous service from all applicable utilities
Serve as primary contact for contracted cleaning and landscaping services
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on energy usage and waste reduction
Maintain and update maintenance records and building system documentation
Maintain and update CAD facility layout drawings
Research new building systems technologies and recommend improvements
Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures
Respond to and delegate Building Services help tickets in a timely manner
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent technical education or five years of building and/or equipment maintenance experience
Three+ years of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership capability
Strong verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of AutoCAD for maintaining facility layout drawings
Proven ability to supervise personnel, teams, and projects
