- Travel requirements: lots of traveling in year 1 between different plants. After year 1, expected to be about 30% travel time.
- Flexibility to work off-hours and be available for off shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Within the first 90 days, prepare a training plan for plants and be ready to implement it.
- Assess competency at the plant level.
- Consult on strategic, long-term continuous improvement plans for each plant.
- Emphasis on Autonomous Maintenance, with strong knowledge of Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Learning & Development pillars.
- Lead the AM corporate pillar and standardize AM activities across sites.
- Lead and execute AM qualification models in support of the master plans.
- Lead and coach on the floor, spending 50% of your time engaged with on-the-floor activities.
- Drive strong adoption of Unrivaled Performance methodology at all levels of the organization by implementing a strong pillar structure and qualifying coworkers.
- Teach, coach, and certify other leaders and coworkers in these tools.
What you need to succeed:
- 5 years of experience as a site-level Pillar leader.
- Proficiency in all 8 pillars of AM/PM.
- Lean experience.
- Background working at a large manufacturer in industries such as food, CPG, chemicals, or plastics.
- BA in Engineering.
