What You’ll Do:
- Reach out to customers (primarily schools) via phone and email regarding past-due balances
- Maintain a professional, calm, and solutions-oriented tone in all communications
- Coordinate payment plans and follow up as needed
- Investigate billing issues and escalate when necessary
- Monitor aging accounts and take timely action to ensure collections targets are met
- Print and send invoices, correct billing errors, and prepare payment vouchers
- Maintain accurate reports on unpaid accounts and repayment progress
- Collaborate with internal teams and direct customers to appropriate contacts when needed
- Assist with general accounting tasks as required
What You Bring:
- 1+ year of collections experience (B2B preferred)
- Intermediate Excel skills and confidence navigating Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional written and phone communication skills—this is a soft collections role
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
- Ability to start quickly and commit through mid-September
- Must be able to pass a credit check
