Your Impact in This Role
  • Process electronic billing for state, county, and local government agencies.
  • Create invoices and credit memos, overseeing reconciliation of customer accounts, and maintaining financial records.
  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including third-party, resident rent, and private pay invoicing.
  • Communicate with clients, customers, and departments to arrange payment plans and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Maintain accounting databases, updating spreadsheets, and ensuring accurate records.
  • Provide accurate and timely accounting services, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and tax documentation.
What You Bring to The Table
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of billing experience, preferably with a home care service agency.
  • Skills: Proficiency with spreadsheets and multiple bookkeeping software platforms (Provider Pro & Blackbaud preferred), strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Industry Experience: Medical, dental, or hospital industry experience is a must.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of I/DD Waiver billing practices is preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
