Responsibilities include:
  • Financial Reporting: Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and General Ledger (GL).
  • Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End Close: Ensure accurate and timely closing processes.
  • Budget and Forecasting: Prepare comprehensive budget and forecasting reports.
  • AP/AR, Collections & Billing: Manage full cycle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), collections, and billing.
  • Bank Reconciliations & Record Keeping: Conduct meticulous bank reconciliations and maintain detailed records.
  • Detailed Analysis & Reporting: Perform detailed financial analysis and prepare reports for company owners.
  • Communication: Liaise with suppliers, clients, vendors, and banking contacts.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist the controller with tax return preparation.
What you need to succeed:
  • Educational Background: BA/BS in accounting or related experience.
  • Experience: At least 2+ years as a bookkeeper.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential.
