Buyer / Inventory Manager
Looking for a role where you can take ownership of purchasing strategy, inventory planning, and vendor relationships in a highly technical environment? Trak group is seeking a Buyer / Inventory Manager to support operations through strategic sourcing, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Develop purchasing strategies, manage vendor relationships, and support cost-effective sourcing decisions
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and help ensure materials are received, stored, and tracked accurately
- Collaborate with sales and operations to forecast demand and maintain inventory flow
- Prepare reports and support planning efforts tied to purchasing, inventory, and operational needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or 2-year technical or business degree
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience or 1 year of precision spindle engineering experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with an understanding of ERP/CRM systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently
