Location: Hebron, Kentucky
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer/Inventory Manager to join our team at our Hebron, Kentucky location. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities and inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to source products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing plans to align with business needs.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to forecast demand and manage inventory flow.
- Oversee the receiving and storage of products to maintain quality and minimize loss.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management for strategic planning.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing and inventory management.
