trak group is working with a growing company in the industrial equipment sector to find a CAD Designer/Drawer who is passionate about drafting and design. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a collaborative, laid-back work environment and enjoys seeing their designs come to life.

- Design custom conveyor systems for wash-down and food-safe environments
- Develop detailed layout drawings for project proposals and manufacturing
- Create platform and stairway designs that align with OSHA and customer specifications
- Work directly with vendors and manufacturing teams to ensure parts and materials meet specifications
- Provide real-time support to the production team during assembly, troubleshooting design issues as needed
- Adapt quickly to project scope changes and design modifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong drafting and design skills
- Experience in conveyor system design or similar industrial equipment manufacturing
- Knowledge of sheet metal processes, including flat patterns and press brake requirements
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and implement design changes efficiently
- Strong verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and convey design intent
- Experience in the food and beverage industry with hygienic design principles
- Ability to calculate conveyor loads and size motors/reducers
- 3D design experience in Autodesk Inventor
- Starting Salary: $55,000 - $60,000/year
