CAD Designer

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 7a-330p

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Lebanon, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. 

Responsibilities:


  • Create accurate, detailed electrical schematic and layout drawings based on customer sketches and instructions.

  • Maintain and update design databases.

  • Communicate design requirements with clients and production teams.

  • Manage workload effectively to maintain lead times and a balanced design backlog.

  • Program laser cutting machines using laser nesting software.

  • Resolve design issues, improve processes, and support corrective actions in collaboration with team members.

  • Actively participate in the plant safety program.
Requirements:

  • Associate degree (2-year college degree) or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience working within fixed production schedules and managing expedite requests.

  • Familiarity with electrical circuitry and Ohm’s Law.

  • Experience with laser cutting equipment or CAM software.

  • Understanding of small business operations and related challenges.

  • Sheet metal fabrication experience.

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks.
