Job Title: Contract CMM Technician
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract CMM Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision in part dimensions and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program CMM equipment to perform inspections and measurements of parts.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine measurement requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment.
- Analyze measurement data and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in operating and programming CMM machines.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with CMM software (e.G., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CMM Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
