Clinical Therapist – School-Based Programs

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a manageable caseload of 12-13 students ranging from 3rd to 12th grade, providing individual and group therapy.
  • Assess therapeutic needs and establish a supportive relationship with each client.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and external agencies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Document assessments, progress notes, reports, and Individual Service Plans (ISP) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Serve as the clinical lead on cases, coordinating communication between stakeholders and ensuring high-quality care.
  • Attend staff meetings, team discussions, and court hearings as needed.
  • Implement clinical models such as Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS).
  • Participate in de-escalation techniques and be prepared to use restraint interventions when necessary.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Licensure: LSW, LPC, or above in good standing.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with youth, especially those with trauma.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where de-escalation and physical restraint techniques may occasionally be required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to travel locally.
