Cloud Product Specialist
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8AM - 5PM
Location: Hamilton, Ohio
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Hamilton, Ohio that’s expanding its IT team.
We’re working with a global industrial technology company that is expanding its U.S. Operations and searching for an entry-level Cloud Product Specialist to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to blend technical cloud expertise with customer-facing and pre-sales experience. You’ll work closely with internal engineering and sales teams to support the rollout and adoption of a secure, scalable industrial cloud platform that connects, monitors, and manages equipment across multiple customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Become a subject matter expert on the company’s cloud-based platform used for industrial connectivity and remote monitoring.
Assist customers and internal teams with platform onboarding, setup, and usage.
Support the sales organization through technical demonstrations, pre-sales enablement, and customer training.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic connectivity and networking issues (VPN, firewalls, IP routing, etc.).
Collaborate with product development teams to test new features, document issues, and recommend improvements.
Travel to customer locations (typically a week at a time) to assist with implementations, configurations, and hands-on training.
Provide timely technical support, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to the customer knowledge base.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Internship or up to 1 year of professional experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or similar).
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals such as VPN, IP addressing, and firewall configuration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;ability to engage confidently with customers and internal teams.
Willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S.
Preferred:
Exposure to industrial automation, IIoT, or edge computing concepts.
Familiarity with Linux, Docker, or REST APIs.
Experience assisting with product demonstrations, technical training, or customer onboarding.
