Setting/Hours: 100% Remote | Training: 8-5p- after training: 8-4p

Job Title: Contract Collections Coordinator
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Description:
The Contract Collections Coordinator will be responsible for managing and executing the collections process to ensure timely payment of invoices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team with all aspects of accounts receivable. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to achieve financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue payments.
- Maintain and update customer account information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on collection activities and outstanding balances to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of collection strategies to improve cash flow.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
This is a contract position, and the candidate must be available to train on-site at the provided location.
