trak group is partnering with a national leader in controlled environment agriculture solutions to hire a Compliance and Contract Specialist. This hybrid role is ideal for a paralegal with a background in construction or engineering who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the complexities of project compliance, contract review, and licensing requirements.
You’ll support legal, operations, and finance teams with everything from contract management and lien tracking to license renewals and vendor compliance. If you're detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ready to grow within an industry-leading team, this is an excellent opportunity.

- Track and renew contractor licenses across various states
- Manage subcontractor and vendor compliance documents, insurance, and certifications
- Notify project teams when vendors fall out of compliance
- Prepare and manage lien paperwork and notices using internal tools
- Support accounts receivable follow-ups and lien filings
- Maintain up-to-date records of vendor contracts and MSAs
- Assist with Certificates of Authority and business license renewals
- Keep contact and project data current in Procore
- Review and redline contracts for risk areas (e.g., warranty terms, indemnity, liabilities)
- Coordinate with legal teams on contract edits and approvals
- Assist with change orders, closeout documents, and project tracking
- Handle admin support tasks such as data entry, document filing, and reporting
- Jump in on special projects and help where needed across departments
- Paralegal certification required
- 5+ years of experience in construction contracts or similar industry (engineering acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Procore, and Bluebeam
- Strong technical reading/writing skills, especially for contracts and project manuals
- Ability to work independently and stay organized while managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable reviewing specifications and legal language within project documentation
