- Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts, utilizing Six Sigma methodology, Kanban, Kaizen, and other tools
- Conduct regular reviews of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, cost savings, and enhanced customer satisfaction
- Utilize advanced Six-Sigma tools (DMAIC), 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA, and Capability studies
- Act as a seasoned Kaizen expert, leading teams to find realistic solutions to complex problems
- Develop training materials and train the business on top lean principles
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership team to foster a CI culture, identify improvement opportunities, and define root cause and corrective actions
- Manage staff cohorts and teams of various sizes, providing training, mentoring, and guidance in new processes
- Participate in the CAPEX budget process, preparing budgets for future years and managing contingencies between multiple projects
- Communicate project plans, status, and risks to key stakeholders
- Facilitate risk mitigation and resolution of highly complex issues
- Leverage strategic relationships to influence at all levels of the organization
- Green Belt certification minimum
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing plant; plastic extrusions highly desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or similar
- Proficient knowledge of Lean techniques and concepts (5s, SIPOC, SWOT, Process Maps, Value-stream, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED)
- Statistical analysis experience using software such as Minitab, SAP-BI, Power-BI, Tableau
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proficient in MS programs and project management software (Smartsheet, Microsoft Projects)
- Comfortable with public speaking and developing training visuals
- Previous policy/procedure development experience
