- Some overnight travel required, including domestic (3-5 days/month) and international (1-3 weeks/year) travel
- BS in Electrical engineering
- 5+ years industrial engineering experience
- Prior experience working in steel or aluminum mills is a plus
- Controls experience to help with the gauge electronic framework
- Vision system or Laser Based Measurement experience is a plus!
- Experience with Emerson and Allen Bradley PLC Programming and communications programming (e.g. Profibus, TCP/IP, EtherNet, etc.)
- Strong PLC integration OR PC based HMI integration experience
