They’re looking for a hands-on Controls Technician to help maintain and troubleshoot industrial automation systems that keep production running smoothly. - Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electrical control systems and PLCs
- Troubleshoot automation issues using electrical schematics and diagnostic tools
- Upload and download drive programs, mostly using Allen-Bradley systems
- Support plant operations by programming and modifying control logic
- Calibrate and test sensors, instrumentation, and high-voltage equipment
- Participate in installations, upgrades, and commissioning of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work and follow all safety procedures
- Respond to occasional night/weekend call-ins and assist with unplanned repairs
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with industrial automation systems and PLCs
- Strong proficiency in Allen-Bradley systems, including drive programming
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- High-voltage and heavy electrical maintenance experience
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and ADP Workforce Now
- Preferred: Experience in the corrugated manufacturing industry
