We're seeking a Corporate Controller to manage all accounting operations, drive financial strategy, and contribute to the success of our growing organization. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home while ensuring compliance, overseeing internal controls, and delivering accurate financial reporting in collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and timely delivery of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Manage external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, order entry, and general ledger functions.
- Collaborate with external tax firms to handle tax compliance, audits, and sales and use tax filings.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and ensure financial liquidity.
- Continuously identify and mitigate financial risks while optimizing accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in a Controller role.
- Manufacturing industry experience, including costing, is required.
- Proficiency in GAAP, IFRS, and ERP systems (NetSuite or similar).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external tax relationships.
