Your Impact in This Role
  • Oversee the credentialing and privileging process for medical staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review the work of your team to maintain high standards
  • Provide crucial support to medical staff leaders in assessing provider competency
  • Conduct thorough audits of individual applications to maintain a credible and robust process
  • Lead and participate in key meetings, including Joint Credential Committee agenda preparation
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts
  • Foster a culture of excellence and professionalism within the Medical Staff Office
  • Ensure all licenses under your supervision are in good standing
What You Bring to The Table
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education in a related field is a plus)
  • 5-7 years of credentialing experience
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification through NAMSS (required)
  • Proven experience in credentialing, privileging, and quality assurance
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Sharp critical thinking and judgment capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing and personable demeanor
  • Willingness to receive yearly flu shot during flu season
