Responsibilities include:
- Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Process orders including managing ship dates, expedited requests, complaints/questions, and necessary follow-up information.
- Handle mostly email communication through a queue system; anyone can take an order, with larger customers managed by a supervisor.
- Work with customers and the sales team to coordinate orders.
- Arrange freight delivery as requested.
- Assist with various requests such as invoices, reports, shipping paperwork, and any other order-related information.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the company's products.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in B2B customer service.
- Strong software skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (experience with Great Plains is a plus, but not required).
- Excellent communication skills, primarily via email.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
