Responsibilities include:
- Operating standard dental equipment, such as autoclaves, air/water syringes, and x-ray units, ensuring proper functionality and maintenance.
- Greeting patients warmly and answering any questions they may have, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Registering new and established patients in the computer system, accurately recording demographic information and medical history.
What you need to succeed:
- 2-3 years of dental assistant experience, demonstrating proficiency in dental procedures and patient care.
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program, ensuring you possess the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.
- Possession of an Ohio general operator's license in radiology (X-ray), enabling you to perform radiographic procedures safely and effectively.
- Professional and polished demeanor, with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Strong computer skills, with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
- Covid vaccination and flu shot required during cold/flu season, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff alike.
