Responsibilities include:
- Competently operate standard dental equipment, ensuring proper functionality and maintenance.
- Verify all dental records for updates as needed, maintaining accurate patient information.
- Ensure completion of appropriate paperwork by patients, facilitating smooth administrative processes.
- Take patient's vital signs and any radiographs as needed for the exam, supporting comprehensive dental assessments.
- Understand and accurately communicate instructions and information according to the hygienist's orders, ensuring effective patient care.
What you need to succeed:
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program, ensuring you have the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.
- Possession of an Ohio general operator's license in radiology (X-ray), enabling you to perform radiographic procedures safely and effectively.
- Professional and polished demeanor, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
- Strong computer skills, with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
