Job Description
Director of Clinical Research
Looking for candidates to serve as a liaison to the finance staff to ensure proper establishment of studies/client accounts.

- Provide professional and courteous customer service and communications to patients/visitors/co-workers/physicians
- Oversee process for research financial compliance
- Ensures timely and accurate management of the financial research process consistent with company policy.
- Collaborate with internal departments and establish a rapport with outside vendors (sponsors)
- Ensures notification of appropriate department leaders of anticipated research and solicits their input on any proposed study
- Updates committee members of regulatory or policy changes related to research
- Serves as the intake person for all research applications submitted to the hospital for review and approval
- Provides training to hospital staff on the research program as necessary
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Research, or related disciplines
- PhD preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state laws governing research
- Experience with medical record documentation review for accuracy, and compliance with all laws, rules, policies and procedures regarding research
- Strong administrative skills due to the large focus on budgets, grant writing, compliance, etc.
- Healthcare background preferred, but not required
