Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the entire family birthing center, including labor and delivery, mother/baby, and post-partum.
- Planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities.
- Maintaining open communication with all staff and physicians to promote performance improvement.
- Integrating department services into the organization’s primary mission.
- Continuously assessing and improving department performance.
- Ensuring department compliance with accreditation standards.
What you need to succeed:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Labor and delivery experience
- 3+ years leadership experience
- 1-2 years in labor and delivery is acceptable
- Flu shot required
- Master’s in nursing, business, or related field preferred
- Experience in mother/baby and postpartum preferred
