Responsibilities include:
- Develop strategic supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement systems to track supplier performance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring responsiveness to material demands.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, conduct quality surveys, and evaluate potential new suppliers.
- Expedite purchased and in-process parts to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Implement procurement practices aligned with business goals and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and cross-functional teams to meet business needs and deliver key results.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Business is required.
- 7 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, with 3 years of leadership experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; experience with Epicor and One Stream preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational development initiatives and change management activities.
