Job Description
Director of Specialty Manufacturing
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | Full-time
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
Review and clarify scope for new replacement or renovation bell-ringing equipment orders.
Evaluate sales orders, job remarks, historical data, and site photos to determine field survey requirements.
Review and approve completed field surveys to identify material and fabrication needs.
Collaborate with design engineering to define scope and layout of CAD drawings for mechanical bell systems.
Partner with electrical engineering to determine design specifics for electrical risers and control systems.
Review, revise, and approve CAD drawings for both mechanical and electrical bell-ringing equipment.
Support production managers and shop personnel by resolving fabrication issues.
Work with project management to understand installation requirements and sequencing.
Assist field service teams and customers in resolving installation challenges and technical issues.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in engineering, design, or fabrication.
Strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
Ability to design custom solutions for unique product installations.
Proficiency in reading and creating CAD drawings.
Experience with historic renovation projects is a plus.
ERP system experience required;Global Shop preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, production, field service, and executive teams.
