Electrical Project Engineer

- Growth Opportunities: Engage in research and development projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design control and electrical schemes for material handling systems, including panel layouts, power, control, and communication distribution.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and schematics, bills of material, and customer data packages.
- Assist with the installation of systems at customer facilities.
- Support manufacturing and purchasing departments, and participate in FAT/prototype assembly, builds, and troubleshooting.
- Lead or participate in research and development projects.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Entry-level to 5 years of engineering design experience.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and E-Plan.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and a problem solver.
- Nice to Haves:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Knowledge or experience with material handling equipment or in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Panel building experience.
- Familiarity with PLCs, RFID, and proximity switches.
