Engineering Electronics Technician (Second)
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 2p-10p
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Florence, Kentucky thats expanding its Manufacturing team.
Position Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, and automated manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum production uptime. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC experience, and a solid understanding of industrial automation, robotics, and machine controls.
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical, electronic, and automated production equipment.

Diagnose and repair servo drives, servo motors, and manufacturing machinery.

Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.

Maintain and troubleshoot machine vision systems.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, and Allen-Bradley systems.

Perform electrical work on equipment operating between 0 and 480 volts.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Support industrial communication networks, including Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus.

Install, wire, and verify proper motor rotation and electrical connections.

Maintain sensors, proximity switches, safety switches, relays, and control systems.

Support robotic automation systems, including MotoMan robotics.

Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, plant safety standards, and environmental policies.

Participate in 5S initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred;equivalent experience considered.

Two to four years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience.

Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC programs, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Moller, and Allen-Bradley platforms.

Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics.
-
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and controls.

Experience troubleshooting servo drives, servo motors, and automated machinery.

Knowledge of Ethernet, EtherCAT, ASI Bus, and ProfiBus communication systems.

Understanding of relay logic, PID controllers, PMA controllers, and industrial robotics.

Experience with sensors, proximity switches, machine vision systems, and safety relays.

Basic mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Ability to safely perform electrical work on equipment operating up to 480 volts.

Ability to accurately use electrical testing and precision measuring equipment.

Experience with preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing safety procedures.
-
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, 5S, and ISO 14001 standards is preferred.

Hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and automation troubleshooting expertise.
