Engineering Technician

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and testing of RF architectures, including test fixtures and benches.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize and standardize testing processes.
  • Support the integration of new technologies to enhance performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair RF modules and assemblies at the component level.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Conduct Design Validation Testing (DVT) and Qualification activities.
  • Maintain and repair equipment and fixtures as required.
  • Build PCB prototypes and support engineering teams in multi-disciplinary tasks.

Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
    • Associate’s degree in electronics and 2+ years of relevant experience.
    • Experience with RF systems and test equipment (e.g., Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators).
    • Hands-on manufacturing or engineering environment experience.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with RF measurements (e.g., bandwidth, gain, selectivity).
    • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronic systems.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
    • Strong soldering skills (J-STD-001 certification preferred).
    • Experience with military standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704) and LabVIEW programming is a plus.
