Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Cincinnati, Ohio location. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent;technical certification or degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
