Job Description
Facilities Maintenance Technician
$25–$30/hour | Direct Hire
Cincinnati, OH | 100% Onsite

trak group is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a local organization’s building operations, equipment reliability, and day-to-day facility upkeep. If you enjoy problem-solving, fixing what’s broken, and keeping environments safe and functional, this role offers stability, variety, and a strong benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine facility maintenance including painting, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC support
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems and equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance to improve reliability and prevent downtime
- Respond quickly to work orders, maintenance requests, and facility emergencies
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and inventory
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
- Follow all established safety practices and facility procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;vocational training is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and basic 120v electrical
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift and carry heavy materials and work in physically active conditions
