Field Service Technician
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | Full-time
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Springdale, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled, hands-on Field Service professional with strong mechanical and fabrication experience. The position plays a critical role in supervising machine installations, leading equipment startups at customer facilities, and performing advanced troubleshooting in both field and shop environments.
Key highlights of the opportunity include:
Supervising installation and startup of machinery at customer locations
Performing field troubleshooting for warranty and repair work
Supporting fabrication needs, including welding, layout, and sheet metal work
Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues
Training customers and team members on equipment operation
Collaborating with manufacturing and service leadership as needed
Preparing detailed field service reports
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of practical factory experience, including welding expertise, and is comfortable working in industrial environments. This position requires significant travel (65–75%) and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
