Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the Accounts Payable process by processing invoices, maintaining supporting records, and posting manual check and autopay activity
  • Record client-related financial activity in our GL systems, including QuickBooks and SEI Archway, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry.
  • Retrieve relevant statements from various portals and organize them electronically in our data management systems.
  • Support the reconciliation of cash and other investment-related activities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining consistent and organized client records
  • Prepare periodic financial statements tailored to specific client needs, including quarterly financial reports.
  • Maintain trust accounting records and prepare periodic financial reports for trustees and beneficiaries, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the year-end 1099 processing as part of the Accounts Payable process
  • Support tax compliance activities by maintaining various schedules and compiling information as requested.
  • Interface directly with third-party CPA firms on various projects
  • Undertake special accounting and tax-related projects as assigned
What you need to succeed:
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards asking questions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and other reporting systems is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to enhance processes through effective communication and organization of information.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
