What You’ll Do
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting and asset management systems.
- Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations of property, plant, equipment, and construction-in-progress accounts.
- Track project costs and transfer completed projects into service.
- Investigate and report on asset obsolescence.
- Conduct detailed analyses and generate management reports related to fixed assets.
- Support audit processes by preparing schedules and answering inquiries.
- Represent the company during government audits involving fixed assets.
- Partner closely with Project Engineering and Plant Maintenance teams to ensure seamless asset tracking.
- Oversee or conduct cost segregation studies as needed.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with hands-on fixed asset accounting responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort managing large datasets.
- Growth mindset with a hunger to learn, improve, and take on new challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
