HR Generalist

- This is a one person HR department that reports directly to the CEO
- This person will have complete ownership over this role
- For the first year (at least) of this position they focus will primarily be on the administrative functions
- Ability to move into the more strategic HR side of things
- Recruiting experience
- Process payroll (bimonthly) for 65 employees (Paycor)
- Initial screening of each candidate, then the line manager will ultimately make the decision
- Onboarding process for all employees goes through HR
- Must be able to have tough conversations with employees
- Responsible for terminating employees, line managers would also be present during these conversations, as well
