Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, providing administrative support to the Senior HR Generalist and HR Manager.
  • Compile, update, and maintain employee records with accuracy.
  • Manage recruiting efforts, including conducting initial phone screens (primarily production roles, occasionally engineering) and scheduling interviews.
  • Handle 10–15 requisitions at a time, ensuring timely and effective candidate coordination.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for the HR team, answering employee questions regarding HR policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Support new hire onboarding, including orientation and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by reviewing timesheets for accuracy before submission.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR administrative experience.
  • Experience with recruiting processes, including initial phone screens and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
