Job Title: Contract Medical Receptionist
Location: Loveland, Ohio
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance details.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in medical office software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processing.
- Customer service-oriented with a patient-first attitude.
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;additional certification in medical reception or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
